Neil has 25 years of experience as a Compère, Auctioneer and Quizmaster hosting a variety of private and corporate live events, including working as the MC on the KidsOut Question of Sport fundraisers, for 10 years.
Neil’s professionalism, attention to detail and ability to listen and fully understand the clients’ brief, make him a pleasure to work with. This, together with his honesty and enthusiasm, make him a popular choice for many. Neil is most notable for his quick wit and dry sense of humour.

The greatest challenge facing a Presenter working on live events is the versatility to adapt to the wide variety of roles and dynamics required. Neil is often commended on his ability to ‘read’ the audience and quickly get a ‘feel’ for the atmosphere, allowing him to deliver the right ‘style’ – ensuring that audiences regularly warm to him more and more as the evening progresses.

Stylish and clean cut, with a youthful look for his 57 years(!), Neil is keen to dress correctly for the part: “I am equally at home in shirt and jeans as dinner jacket – but either way, it has to be co-ordinated and suit the event. My job is to draw attention to your guests and the event – not myself!”

Since 2012 Neil has co-hosted Quiz fundraisers with John Parrot, Rachel Riley, Rory McGrath, Dermot Murnaghan and Vicky Gomersall. In recent years, Neil has been the Host for the Investors Choice Awards and Britain’s Top Employers UK Awards Dinner and GroceryAid Quiz Night to name a few.
